We're proud to introduce the Bali Cat — a 40-foot sailing catamaran based in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, and the foundation of our newest destination.

About the Bali Cat

The Bali Cat is a 40-foot Bali-model sailing catamaran with a panoramic flybridge, en-suite cabins, a gourmet galley kitchen, and the kind of quiet, wind-assisted motion that reminds you why sailboats were invented. It departs from Leeward Marina in Providenciales — one of the best-positioned marinas in the Caicos, a short ride from Grace Bay Beach, with direct access to the open cays and reef systems to the north and west.

It operates exclusively as a private charter. No shared decks, no strangers, no compromises on pace or itinerary. Day charters accommodate up to 10 guests. Sunset dinners and overnight voyages are kept to 6, by design.

Every charter includes Cressi snorkelling equipment, a professional captain and crew, and — depending on the experience — premium catering, bar service, and curated itineraries through some of the most pristine water in the Caribbean.

Where the Bali Cat Goes

The Caicos cays are one of the Caribbean's best-kept secrets — a scatter of uninhabited islands wrapped by one of the largest barrier reef systems in the world, most of them reachable only by boat. Here's what's in range:

Little Water Cay — The Iguana Sanctuary

A protected nature reserve just off Providenciales, home to the Turks & Caicos Rock Iguana — a species found nowhere else on earth. You can wade ashore on a sandbar, walk the boardwalk through the cay, and come face to face with iguanas that have been sunning themselves on this beach for decades. It's quiet, beautiful, and one of the most singular wildlife encounters in the Caribbean.

Half Moon Bay

A natural tidal lagoon connecting two uninhabited cays — Water Cay and Little Water Cay — with a sandbar that appears and disappears with the tide. The water here is the particular shade of turquoise that Turks & Caicos is famous for. Anchoring here for a swim and a long lunch is one of the charter's signature moments.

Pine Cay

One of the most pristine uninhabited cays in the Caicos chain, with powder-white beaches and exceptional snorkelling along its eastern reef. Pine Cay has long been regarded as one of the most beautiful spots in the entire archipelago — the kind of beach you'd assume was digitally enhanced.

Parrot Cay

Home to the legendary Parrot Cay resort — a favourite of those who know the Turks & Caicos well — the waters around Parrot Cay are calm, clear, and full of colour. A full-day charter can anchor offshore for snorkelling before the crowds (which are minimal regardless) arrive by ferry.

Fort George Cay & Mangrove Cay

Fort George holds the ruins of an 18th-century British fort, partially submerged at high tide and surrounded by a remarkably intact coral reef. Mangrove Cay sits in sheltered water ideal for calm-day snorkelling and birdwatching. These two are a particular favourite on multi-day itineraries.

The Barrier Reef

The Turks & Caicos Barrier Reef is one of the largest in the world and one of the clearest — visibility can exceed 100 feet on a calm day, with coral formations, parrotfish, reef sharks, sea turtles, and schools of tropical fish at every depth. The Bali Cat carries full Cressi snorkel kits for every guest, and the captain knows exactly which sections of reef are worth the anchor.

The Charter Experiences

Half-Day Charter

Three to four hours on the water — perfect for a morning reef snorkel at Half Moon Bay, a sandbar swim, and a return to Leeward Marina in time for lunch. Ideal for guests who want a taste of the Caicos without committing a full day.

Full-Day Charter

The signature experience. A full day at sea — typically hitting two or three cays, with snorkelling, a long beach lunch, swimming off the bow, and a slow sail home. This is the one most guests book twice.

Sunset Charter

A two-to-three-hour evening sail as the light goes gold over the Caicos Banks. Small group, premium bar, and a sky that makes you feel like you planned the whole thing. Capacity is capped at 6 for sunset charters — more intimate, more special.

Multi-Day Voyage

For those who want to go further — overnight charters with en-suite cabin accommodation for up to 5 guests, ranging from two-night island-hopping voyages to extended passages through the Caicos Cays. Fully catered, fully crewed, fully private.

Why Turks & Caicos?

Grace Bay Beach, Providenciales, consistently ranks among the best beaches in the world — and for good reason. The water is shallow, warm, and impossibly clear. The reef is intact. The island is quiet by Caribbean standards, with a small permanent population, no cruise ship ports, and a visitor economy built around people who come to slow down and stay a while.

The Turks & Caicos are roughly a two-hour flight from the US East Coast — closer than Maui, less crowded than most of the Caribbean, and with a water quality that makes every other beach feel slightly less blue by comparison.

There are no volcanoes or rainforests here. The terrain is flat and low, the weather almost absurdly reliable, and the whole point is the ocean. The Bali Cat is the right way to experience it.

Planning Your Trip

Getting there: Providenciales International Airport (PLS) is served by direct flights from Miami, New York JFK, Charlotte, Boston, Atlanta, and Toronto. Most guests arrive in 2–3 hours from the US East Coast.

When to go: The Turks & Caicos enjoys warm, settled weather year-round. High season runs December through April (dry, cooler, busiest). Summer (June–September) is warmer, quieter, and often the best value — the water is at its warmest and the trade winds keep things comfortable. Hurricane season technically covers June–November, though the island sits south of the main hurricane belt and severe events are rare.
